First game of the season home to Wigan.

No doubt will set the tone for the season.

I am looking for a good win to get us off to a season where we need to be looking to chase the tails of the big boys and look for one of the minor European spots.

welcome to the site Hammer_paul
only 2-0
if last seasons anything to go buy Wigan will get thrashed and if you get a few more decent players defense wise i can see it being more like 4-0
and Ashton grabbing 2

anyone care to differ

New season everyone full of hopes and dreams.

Will be happy with any win, but 2-1 would be my guess. 2-0 if we strengthen at the back.

At Last!

Today we have some real football and the first thing I read.

Quote:
West Ham defender Anton Ferdinand is a doubt with a hamstring problem.
Craig Bellamy, Kieron Dyer, Jonathan Spector, James Collins, George McCartney, Danny Gabbidon and James Tompkins are already out injured
.

Still looking for a win against Wigan, but with an injury list like this at the begining of the season, we could be limited to five a side games by end of season

Posted the below on the 26 June and my guess is that we are still weak at the back and this could be a long hard season.
